Road Ready Driver Instruction LLC, doing business as Road Ready Safety ("Road Ready Safety"), maintains the following refund and withdrawal policy for students enrolled in the North Dakota Defensive Driving Course.

1. The rule in one sentence

You can get a full refund at any time before you complete the course. There is no cancellation window to miss and no pro-rata deduction for modules you have already read.

2. Definitions

"Completed" means you have passed the final examination or been issued a certificate of completion, whichever happens first.
"Withdrawal" means you have told us, in writing, that you want to stop the course and be refunded.
"Effective date of withdrawal" is the date we receive your written request.

3. Before completion: full refund

If you withdraw before you complete the course, we refund everything you paid. It does not matter whether you have logged in, how many modules you have finished, or how long you have been enrolled.

4. After completion: no refund

Once you have completed the course the certificate has been earned and, where North Dakota requires it, reported. No refund is available after completion. If you believe your completion was recorded in error, contact support and we will review the record.

5. Special situations

Duplicate purchase. If you were charged twice for the same enrollment, the duplicate charge is refunded in full.
Course discontinued. If we discontinue the course, or a failure on our part prevents you from completing it, everything you paid is refunded.
Identity-related termination. If your enrollment is terminated because identity verification failed or someone else participated in your course (see the Student Identity Verification policy in our Terms), no refund is owed.
State rules. Where North Dakota law or the conditions of the course's approval give you a more generous right than this policy, that rule controls.

6. How to request a refund

Use the refund option in the student portal, or email refunds@roadreadysafety.com from the email address on your account with your name and the course you enrolled in. We confirm receipt, close the enrollment and issue the refund to the original payment method. Most refunds appear within five to ten business days, depending on your bank, and in every case within thirty (30) days of the effective date of withdrawal.

7. Records

We keep a record of every refund: your name, the date requested, the amount, the date processed, the reason and proof of payment, for the period described in our records retention policy.

8. Publication

This policy is shown before enrollment, included in the enrollment contract, published on this site and provided on request.
