Road Ready Driver Instruction LLC, doing business as Road Ready Safety ("Road Ready Safety"), is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified students with disabilities, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the laws of North Dakota, and the integrity of course requirements.
1. How the course is built
The North Dakota Defensive Driving Course is delivered as text, images with written descriptions, and short videos with closed captions. It works on phones, tablets and computers, with screen readers, with browser zoom, and with the keyboard alone. There is no time limit on any individual page beyond the minimum time the state requires you to spend on each module, and you can stop and resume as often as you need.
2. Requesting an accommodation
Tell us as early as possible, ideally at or shortly after enrollment, by contacting support at info@roadreadysafety.com or (888) 885-5707. Describe the accommodation you are requesting and the nature of the limitation. We review each request individually and may ask for appropriate documentation when it is needed to decide what is reasonable.
Examples of accommodations we can provide include extended time on assessments, alternative formats, assistance with navigation, and help scheduling identity-verification steps. Accommodations cannot remove a requirement the state imposes on every student, such as the minimum instruction time or the identity checks, but we will work with you to meet those requirements in a way that works for you.
3. Our commitment
We make good-faith efforts to provide reasonable accommodations, to respond to accommodation requests within two business days, and to communicate clearly about what we can offer and any limitations. If you encounter a barrier anywhere on this site or in the course, tell us and we will fix it or provide the content another way.
4. Complaints
If you believe a request was not handled properly, you may file a grievance under the Complaints and Grievance section of our Terms, or contact North Dakota Department of Transportation, Driver License Division directly using the details on our Terms page.
