  • Proof of financial responsibility (insurance card or policy with your name, current at time of request)
  • Court cost payment (money order or cashier's check)

After Completing the Course — Submit These

  • DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
  • Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS

Important Deadlines & Local Rules

  • Request deadline: Must request DSC on or before the plea due date shown on the notice to appear (postmark accepted for mail)
  • Completion window: 90 days from date of request approval.
  • Serves Frisco and Little Elm areas (Carrollton courthouse: 1029 W. Rosemeade Pkwy, Carrollton TX 75007)
  • Contact court before making any online payment — paying online constitutes a conviction and forfeits DSC eligibility
  • CDL holders are ineligible for DSC
  • Speeding 25+ mph over limit, passing a school bus, and construction zone violations are ineligible
