After Completing the Course — Submit These

  • Certified copy of driving record from Texas DPS (due within 90-day completion window)

Important Deadlines & Local Rules

  • Request deadline: On or before the plea due date shown on your notice to appear (mail: postmarked by that date via certified mail with return receipt; in-person: present to court by that date)
  • Completion window: 90 days to complete the driving safety course.
  • Criminal e-filing is mandatory as of 09/01/2025.
  • DSC requests can be submitted online through the court portal.
  • Must enter a plea of no contest or guilty with your DSC request.
  • Commercial Driver's License holders are not eligible for DSC.
