Important Deadlines & Local Rules

  • Request deadline: Must request DSC before appearance date; after that, requires Judge approval
  • Completion window: 90 days (3 months) from DSC approval.
  • CDL holders are ineligible for DSC.
  • Ineligible offenses include: speeding 25+ mph over limit, speeding 95+ mph over limit, passing a school bus, failure to stop/render aid, and construction zone violations.
  • Cannot have taken DSC for another offense in the past 12 months.
  • Deferred disposition is also available; call court for cost (listed as 'special expense plus court costs').
