⚠ $147 non-refundable court cost and administrative fee; money order or cashier's check payable to Justice of the Peace, Pct. Four.
How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Copy of citation (green ticket or copy)
- •Copy of valid Texas driver's license
- •Copy of liability insurance
- •DPS driver's record (Form 3a), requested within 30 days
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
- •Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: On or before your appearance date
- •Not eligible if speed was 95 mph or more, or 25+ mph over the posted limit.
- •Not eligible if you hold a Commercial Driver's License.
- •Not eligible if cited for passing a school bus.
- •Cannot have completed a driver safety course within the prior 12 months.
