  • Driver's record (Form 3a from DPS, requested within 30 days of citation)

After Completing the Course — Submit These

  • DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
  • Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS

Important Deadlines & Local Rules

  • Request deadline: On or before your appearance date
  • DSC not available for: speeding 25+ mph over limit, construction zone with workers present, or passing a school bus.
  • Commercial driver's license holders are ineligible.
  • Must not have completed a DSC within 12 months of citation date.
  • Court encourages telephone, online, or mail contact rather than in-person visits when possible.
