After Completing the Course — Submit These

  • DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
  • Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS

Important Deadlines & Local Rules

  • Request deadline: On or before appearance date on citation
  • Completion window: Contact court for specific deadline after approval.
  • DSC not available for speeding 24+ mph over the limit, passing a school bus, or fleeing a police officer.
  • If DPS records show a DSC was completed within the prior 12 months, the request will be denied.
  • Deferred disposition (up to 180 days probation) is an alternative option for eligible drivers with a clean record.
