To Request Approval — Submit These

  • Completed and signed DSC/MOTC application
  • Photocopy of current auto liability insurance
  • Photocopy of valid Texas Driver's License
  • Non-refundable check, money order, or cashier's check payable to 'Orange County JP3' for $132.10

After Completing the Course — Submit These

  • DPS driving record (mailed to court upon DSC completion)

  • Request deadline: Application must be postmarked on or before your court appearance date; if postmarked by that date, you do not need to appear in court
  • Completion window: Terms mailed after application review; DPS driving record must be submitted upon course completion.

  • Not eligible if: took DSC to dismiss a ticket within the last 12 months, hold a CDL, exceeded speed limit by 25+ mph, passed a school bus, or cited in a construction zone with workers present
