Refund & Attendance Policy
Road Ready Driver Instruction LLC d/b/a Road Ready Safety
Cancellation — your three-day right
You are entitled to a full refund of all money you have paid if:
- You cancel this enrollment contract before midnight of the third day, other than a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, after the date you signed it; or
- You provide proof that your enrollment resulted from a misrepresentation in Road Ready’s advertising or promotional materials, or from a representation made by an owner or employee.
You are not eligible for a full refund if, within that period, you have successfully completed the course or received a failing grade on the comprehensive course examination.
Termination and refunds
If you do not enter the course, withdraw, or are terminated before completion, your refund is based on the period of enrollment, calculated on course time expressed in clock hours. The effective date of termination is the last day of attendance if Road Ready terminates the enrollment, the date Road Ready receives your written notice, or the tenth school day after your last day of attendance — whichever applies.
If tuition is collected in advance and you do not attend, withdraw, or are terminated, Road Ready will retain not more than $50 from the total course tuition as an administrative expense and will refund all fees or remaining tuition corresponding to services you did not receive. Separately stated extra expenses are refunded if they were shown to you before enrollment and you return any property purchased from Road Ready.
All refunds are completed before the 30th day after the effective date of termination. A refund not made within that period accrues interest at an annual rate of 10 percent. Refund requests may be submitted through your student account or by email to info@roadreadysafety.com.
Road Ready refund guarantee
The rights above are the minimum Texas law gives you. Beyond them, we will refund your full tuition, with no administrative fee, whenever you request it before you have completed the course and received your ADE-1317 certificate — whatever your reason and however far into the course you are. Once the course is complete and your certificate has been issued, the course has been fully delivered and no refund is due. If your enrollment is terminated for an identity-verification failure or academic dishonesty, the statutory terms above apply instead of this guarantee. Email info@roadreadysafety.com to request it.
If we discontinue the course
If discontinuation of the course prevents you from completing it, all tuition and fees you have paid automatically become refundable. If you submit a written request for a refund, it will be fulfilled within thirty days after receipt.
Attendance and make-up
All instruction, including any make-up work, must be completed within the timeline stated above. You are responsible for making up any time missed.
Because this course is online and self-paced, there are no scheduled sessions to miss. You may stop at any point and resume later; your progress is saved. Time not yet completed is resumed rather than credited, and partial time in a lesson does not satisfy that lesson. You receive the full 330 minutes of instruction regardless of how many sittings it takes. Any change to your completion deadline is at Road Ready’s discretion and must be agreed in writing.
