How to Request DSC Approval

- •Certified completion certificate from an approved Driver Safety Course
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Certified copy of driving record from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Request DSC before your appearance date on the citation
- •Completion window: 90 days from the date of court approval.
- •Court sessions are held once monthly at 9:00 AM in City Hall Council Chambers, 102 E. Chihuahua St., La Vernia, TX 78121.
- •Holders of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) are not eligible for DSC dismissal.
- •DSC is not available if you were speeding 25+ mph over the limit, in a school zone, construction zone, or if the violation involved an accident with vehicle damage.
- •You must not have completed a DSC within the 12 months preceding the date of the violation.
