DSC Court Fees
⚠ $144 total ($134 plus a $10 dismissal fee), payable in full immediately upon judge approval. No extensions or payment plans.
How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Signed, notarized DSC Affidavit
- •Color copy of the front of your current Texas Driver's License
- •Copy of current automobile liability insurance with your name on the policy
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Upon completion: signed Certificate of Completion
- •Upon completion: certified Driving Record from Texas DPS
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Request (notarized DSC Affidavit plus Plea Form or in-person appearance) must be submitted on or before the court date and time listed on your citation.
- •Completion window: Complete the course and submit the Certificate of Completion and Driving Record within 90 days of your approved request..
- •DSC Affidavit must be notarized.
- •Fee ($144) is due in full immediately upon judge approval — no extensions or payment plans.
- •Not eligible if you have a CDL, were cited for 25+ over, were cited in a construction/school zone, or for a school bus violation.
- •Cannot use DSC if you have taken one for dismissal within the prior 12 months.
