DSC Court Fees

How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Valid Texas driver's license
- •Proof of insurance
- •Affidavit (no DSC in the prior 12 months)
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Original DSC certificate of completion
- •Certified Type 3A Texas driving record
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Submit your request before the appearance date on your citation.
- •Completion window: Return the certificate and driving record by the due date set by the court; standard Texas practice is ~90 days from approval..
- •The online portal is for citation lookup and payment only — DSC requests go by email, mail, or in person.
- •Ineligible per the court: speeding 25+ mph over, 95+ mph, school-bus and construction-zone violations, CDL holders, and other serious moving violations.
