DSC Court Fees
⚠ Fee confirmed via Westworth Village Municipal Court, which administers Westover Hills cases under contract. Request must be submitted within 20 days of receiving citation.
How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Valid Texas driver's license
- •Proof of liability insurance with defendant's name on policy showing coverage at time of citation
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Completion certificate from a Texas-approved Type 3A driver safety course (after completing the course)
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Within 20 days of receiving the citation (per Westworth Village court, which administers the court); confirm exact deadline with court by your appearance date
- •Completion window: 90 days after court approval (standard TX; confirm with court).
- •CONTRACTED COURT: The Town of Westover Hills (pop. ~641, entirely surrounded by Fort Worth) does NOT operate its own standalone municipal courtroom — it contracts court administrative services and use of the courtroom to the City of Westworth Village. Cases are heard at 311 Burton Hill Road, Westworth Village, TX 76114 (the same address as Westworth Village Municipal Court). Westover Hills maintains its own court administrator contact (817-710-2507, court@westoverhills.us) and a separate online payment portal.
- •Westover Hills' official website is westoverhills.us — NOT cityofwestworth.com (Westworth Village) and NOT any 'westworth' domain. These are two distinct Tarrant County cities.
- •DSC eligibility: citation cannot be for speeding more than 25 mph over limit; defendant must not have completed a driver safety course in the preceding 12 months; commercial driver's license holders are ineligible.
