How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Plea of 'Guilty' or 'No Contest'
- •Payment of court costs plus $10.00 (in full, no payment plans)
- •Proof of valid automobile liability insurance with defendant's name on the policy
- •Proof of current Texas Driver's License
- •Copy of Driving Record obtained from the Texas Department of Public Safety
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Certificate of Completion from a TDLR-approved Driver Safety Course
- •Copy of Driving Record obtained from the Texas Department of Public Safety
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Within 20 calendar days from the offense date on the citation (in writing or in person)
- •You have 90 days from the date of the court's signed order to complete the course and submit all documents.
