  • Proof of valid insurance
  • Course completion certificate (uniform 'court copy') from a TDLR-approved provider

  • Certified driving record from Texas DPS

Important Deadlines & Local Rules

  • Request deadline: On or before the appearance/due date of your citation (within 20 days of the citation).
  • Completion window: Submit proof of completion within 90 days from the date of payment..
  • Mail and online requests require a notarized affidavit.
  • Ineligible if: DSC completed within the last 12 months; CDL holder; speeding 95+ mph or 25+ over; construction/school-zone or unlawful-passing violations; failure to render aid/ID charges.
  • Juveniles 16 or younger must appear in court with a parent/guardian.
  • Fate is a Municipal Court of Record.
