How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Completion certificate from a TDLR-approved six-hour driving safety course
- •Proof of Texas liability insurance valid on the date of the offense
- •Copy of valid Texas driver's license
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
- •Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Must appear or contact the court within 14 calendar days of receiving your citation
- •Completion window: 90 days (standard TX fallback; confirm with court).
- •Judge: Donna Holden (appointed August 2016); court operates as a non-court of record — appeals go to Reagan County Court.
- •Minors under 18 must appear in person with a parent or legal guardian; a spouse or relative cannot enter a plea on your behalf.
