- •Type 3A certified copy of your driving record (obtained from Texas DPS)

- •Request deadline: Within 21 calendar days from the date cited.
- •Completion window: 90 days (the court postpones the case 90 days to allow time to complete the course)..

- •Ineligible if: took a DSC for a traffic offense within the past 12 months; currently taking the course for another violation; cited for 24+ mph over; or charged with failure to provide accident information, leaving an accident scene, fleeing police, reckless driving, passing a school bus, serious CDL violations, or construction-zone violations. CDL holders generally do not qualify.
