How to Request DSC Approval

After Completing the Course — Submit These

  • •DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
  • •Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS

Important Deadlines & Local Rules

  • •Request deadline: On or before your court appearance date
  • •Completion window: 90 days from court approval.
  • •DSC request must be submitted in person or by mail — email is not accepted for the initial DSC request (other forms may be emailed).
  • •DSC not available if: speeding 25+ mph over limit or 95+ mph in any zone; CDL holder; failed to stop/left accident scene; passed a school bus; work-zone violation with workers present; or used this option within the prior 12 months.
  • •Court also offers Deferred Disposition as an alternative to keep violations off record.
