- •Signed 'Request Form for Driving Safety Course' (pleads NO CONTEST; certifies eligibility)
- •Proof of a valid Texas driver's license or permit
- •Proof of insurance
- •Money order or check payable to Nacogdoches County for $146.00
- •State-approved Driving Safety Course completion certificate (Court Copy), returned to the court after the course

- •Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS
Important Deadlines & Local Rules

- •Completion window: 90 days from approval to complete a state-approved driving safety course and return the signed Court Copy of the completion certificate..
- •Eligibility per the court's own form: must plead NO CONTEST; no driving-safety-course dismissal used in the prior 12 months and not currently using one for another pending offense; no CDL; not a construction-zone-with-workers-present citation; not a school-bus-passing citation; not speeding 25+ mph over the limit.
