How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These

- •Current insurance card
- •Affidavit that no driving safety course has been taken in the last 12 months
- •Certificate of course completion
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Certified driving record (Type 3A) obtained via DPS form or at dps.texas.gov
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Completion window: 90 days to complete the course and submit proof of completion plus driving record.
- •Court costs + $10 admin fee must be paid upfront when requesting the course.
- •Defendant must submit a certified driving record (DPS Type 3A) in addition to the completion certificate.
- •Court only handles citations issued by the Devine Police Department.
