DSC Court Fees
⚠ Fee must be paid within 90 days of approval. Personal checks not accepted.
How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Completed and notarized reply form (included with citation or via Adobe eSign link)
- •Proof of current auto insurance
- •Valid Texas driver's license
- •No-contest plea
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
- •Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Must request DSC before or on your appearance date
- •Completion window: 90 days from approval to complete the course and pay the fee.
- •Eligible only if speeding citation is less than 25 MPH over the speed limit
- •CDL holders are not eligible for DSC dismissal
- •Cannot have taken a DSC in the previous 12 months
