How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Valid Texas driver's license
- •Proof of financial responsibility (insurance) under Transportation Code ch. 601
- •Signed 'court copy' DSC certificate from a TDLR-approved course (after completion)
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
- •Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Obtain the court's permission before enrolling — you may not complete a DSC to dismiss your citation until the court grants permission.

- •CDL holders are NOT eligible.
