How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Copy of class receipt (may be substituted if original certificate/record not received within 90 days)
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Certificate of completion from a TDLR-approved driver safety course
- •Copy of your Texas DPS driving record (DPS Driving Record Form available on court website)

- •Request deadline: Contact the court within 12 days of the citation date to make arrangements; request DSC before your appearance date
- •Completion window: 90 days from citation date.
