DSC Court Fees
This court does not publish its DSC fee schedule online. Call (817) 558-7447 to confirm the exact amount before submitting payment.
Standard Texas DSC fee is typically $144 for moving violations and $169 for school zone violations, but varies by court.
How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Signed affidavit (returned to the court if requesting by certified mail)
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Driving safety course certificate of completion
- •Certified copy of your driving record from the Texas Department of Public Safety
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Request must be made on or before the appearance date on the citation (in person or by certified mail); the court's eligibility page also states the request must be received or postmarked within 20 days of the citation date
- •Completion window: 90 days to complete the course and return the certificate of completion and certified DPS driving record to the court.
- •Eligibility requires that you have not taken a DSC for a traffic offense within the 12 months prior to the offense date and are not currently taking the course for another traffic offense
- •If all DSC terms are successfully met, the citation is dismissed and not reported as a conviction on your driving record
- •DSC fees cannot be paid through the court's online payment system — contact the court directly
- •Court is held the first Thursday and third Tuesday of each month; parking is limited, with additional parking across the street (north) at 101 E 12th Street
