DSC Court Fees
⚠ Non-refundable administrative fee of $129.00, payable by money order or cashier's check only — you cannot pay for this course online. The fee is non-refundable even if the course is not completed.
How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Completed DSC plea request form (Form #2), signed, entering a plea of Guilty or No Contest
- •Non-refundable administrative fee of $129.00 by money order or cashier's check
- •Copy of valid Texas Driver's License
- •Copy of valid Liability Insurance
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Certified Copy (Type 3A) driving record from Texas DPS
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Request must be received by the court within 30 days of receiving the citation (by the contact/appearance date on the citation).
- •Completion window: 90 days to complete the course and submit a certificate of completion, beginning after the court grants approval. Do NOT enroll before receiving the court's approval letter..
- •Must hold a valid Texas Driver's License and not have taken a DSC within the prior 12 months.
- •CDL drivers are NOT eligible.
- •All documents must be submitted BEFORE taking the course; do not enroll until you receive the approval letter.
- •If the certificate is not provided by the due date, the charge will not be dismissed, fees are not refunded, the full fine becomes due, and a warrant plus fees may be issued.
