Important Deadlines & Local Rules

  • Request deadline: Request must be submitted by the appearance date shown on the citation.
  • Completion window: 90 days from the date of payment..
  • CDL holders and out-of-state license holders are not eligible for deferred disposition or the driving safety course.
  • Applicant must not have taken a defensive driving course within the previous 12 months.
  • Ineligible offenses: speeding 25+ mph over the limit or 95+ mph absolute, school bus violations, construction zone violations, accident-related violations (leaving the scene, failure to render aid/exchange info), and fleeing police.
  • Court instructs applicants not to make a payment until a clerk has instructed them to do so.
