- •Cashier's check or money order for fees (if submitting by mail)

- •DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
- •Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: On or before the appearance date listed on your citation (mailed requests must be postmarked no later than that date)
- •Course must be approved by the State of Texas (TDLR-approved provider).
- •Ineligible if: hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL); charged with speeding 25+ mph over the limit; or charged with construction/work zone violations, passing a stopped school bus, reckless driving, fleeing police, leaving the scene/accident damage.
- •Cannot have taken a driver's safety course for ticket dismissal within the past 12 months.
