How to Request DSC Approval

In-personRequest the Driving Safety Course in person on or before your appearance date at City Hall, 111 West Main Street, Whitesboro, TX 76273. Pay court costs by cash, money order, cashier's check, or card (3% card processing fee).
MailRequest by certified mail on or before your appearance date. Mail payment/documents to P.O. Box 340, Whitesboro, TX 76273. Pay by money order or cashier's check.

To Request Approval — Submit These

Important Deadlines & Local Rules

  • •Request deadline: Must request the course by certified mail or in person on or before the appearance date listed on the citation. Do NOT complete a course until after the court has approved the request.
  • •Completion window: Complete the course and return the certificate of completion within 90 days..
  • •Plea of No Contest or Guilty required to elect the Driving Safety Course.
  • •Eligibility: moving violation only; speeding must be less than 25 mph over the posted limit; no DSC completed in the prior 12 months.
  • •IMPORTANT: Do not complete a driving safety course until AFTER you have requested and been approved through the court.
