DSC Court Fees
⚠ The court publishes a combined amount covering court costs and administrative fees: $144 for standard moving violations and $169 for school zone violations. You must pay court costs and receive court permission before beginning the course.
How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Valid Texas driver's license
- •Proof of liability insurance (printed)
- •Plea of guilty or nolo contendere
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
- •Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Request the course at the clerk's window during office hours, online, or in court on your court date.
- •Completion window: 90 days to complete the course and return to the court with an official driving safety course completion certificate..
