DSC Court Fees
⚠ Fee is paid by check or money order submitted with the notarized DSC request form. This is the court's administrative fee only.
How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Completed and notarized DSC request form
- •Check or money order for $144 (or $169 for school zone)
- •Copy of current proof of liability insurance
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
- •Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Must be postmarked or delivered by your initial appearance date
- •Court is open Monday–Thursday only; closed Fridays.
- •DSC request form must be signed before a Notary Public.
- •Certified Mail with Return Receipt Requested is required for mailed submissions.
