DSC Court Fees

How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Completed DSC enrollment materials (obtained from court clerk)
- •Copy of valid Texas Driver's License
- •Copy of current proof of insurance showing you as a covered driver
- •DSC fee payment ($144 standard / $169 school zone)
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
- •Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Must contact the court clerk before your court appearance date to obtain paperwork and request DSC option.
- •Completion window: 90 days (TX standard; confirm exact deadline with court at time of enrollment).

- •DSC is only available once per 12-month period for one violation.
- •Speeding violations must be less than 25 mph over the posted limit to qualify.
- •CDL holders are not eligible for DSC dismissal.
