DSC Court Fees
⚠ Court costs of $144 ($169 school zone) are due with the request; pay by cash, money order, cashier's check, or card.
How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Valid Texas driver's license
- •Proof of financial responsibility (insurance) listing you as a driver
- •Plea of guilty or no contest with the request
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •certificate of completion from a TDLR-approved course
- •certified Type 3A driving record from Texas DPS

- •Completion window: 90 days from court approval to submit the completion certificate and certified driving record.
