Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: On or before the appearance date on the citation (10-day grace period from citation date to appearance date). DSC will NOT be granted after the due/appearance date.
- •Completion window: 90 days from request date (TX standard — not stated court-specifically in brochure; call court to confirm).
- •DSC must be requested in person during judge's court hours — Monday or Thursday at 5:00 PM only; the clerk's office (Mon–Fri 8–5) can answer questions but DSC approval requires appearing before Judge Ruben Ochoa.
