How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These

- •Proof of financial responsibility (insurance) with defendant's name on it
- •Municipal Court Reply Form (for mail submissions)
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Driving record from texasonline.com (state-approved DSC course list available at TDLR website)
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: Must request DSC before your appearance date on the citation
- •Completion window: 90 days (standard Texas statutory window; confirm with court clerk).

- •CDL holders are ineligible for DSC dismissal.
- •Ineligible violations include: speeding 25+ mph over the limit, speeds of 95+ mph, passing a school bus loading/unloading children, work zone violations, hit-and-run offenses.
