DSC Court Fees
⚠ Per the court's official Driving Safety Course courtesy letter, the administrative fee is $139.00 for standard violations and $155.00 for school zone violations. Pay by cashier's check or money order only (no personal checks).
How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Copy of your valid Texas driver's license or permit
- •Proof of valid insurance
- •Notarized affidavit/request form provided by the court
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Certified copy of your Texas DPS driving record (Type 3A)
- •Original signed Court Copy of the uniform certificate of completion from a TDLR-approved driving safety course
Important Deadlines & Local Rules
- •Request deadline: On or before the appearance (answer) date on your citation. By mail, the request must be postmarked by the appearance date.
- •Completion window: 90 days to present proof of course completion to the court after the request is approved..
