How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Valid Texas driver's license (active-duty military exception applies)
- •Proof of liability insurance (financial responsibility)
- •Plea of no contest (nolo contendere) or guilty
- •Notarized affidavit stating you have not taken a driving safety course for dismissal in the prior 12 months
- •Completed Texas Driving Safety Course certificate
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •Certified Type 3A driving record from DPS
