⚠ Administrative fee is paid at the time the request is made: $144.00 for non-school-zone violations and $169.00 for school-zone violations per the official court Driver Safety Course page.
How to Request DSC Approval
To Request Approval — Submit These
- •Valid Texas driver's license
- •Proof of current car insurance coverage
- •Written notice of intent to take the driving safety course
- •On completion: proof of course completion
- •On completion: certified copy of your driver's record from the Texas DPS
After Completing the Course — Submit These
- •DSC Certificate of Completion (signed)
- •Certified Type 3A Driving Record from Texas DPS
