  • Valid non-commercial Texas driver's license (or active military status)

After Completing the Course — Submit These

  • Certified (Type 3A) copy of your driving record from the Texas DPS

  • Completion window: Complete the course and submit all required documents on or before the date indicated on your Driving Safety Course order (the court emphasizes you do NOT necessarily have a full 90 days — the deadline is the date on the order)..

  • Eligibility: must enter a guilty or nolo contendere plea, hold a valid non-commercial TX license (or active military), no DSC for dismissal in the prior 12 months, and show evidence of financial responsibility.
  • Ineligible offenses: 25+ mph over, 95+ mph, passing a stopped school bus, construction/maintenance zone violations, failure to provide accident information, leaving the scene, and serious CDL/commercial violations.
  • Online payment is available for limited cases only (court-approved monthly payments or special deferred-disposition fees) — not a general DSC request portal.
